During the Ayutthaya period, there was monk on foot from Pradoo Songtham Temple. Upon reaching Thonburi, a rampant disease outbreak occurred, leading to widespread illness and death among the people. The monk consecrets the stone and throw into the Sacred Monastic Pool of Hong Rattanaram Ratchaworawihan Temple, allowing the villagers to drink from the pool and use it as a remedy for diseases. To this day, that particular stone is still preserved and venerated.

Within the vicinity of Wat Hongsaratanaram, there is a sacred Monastic Pool measuring 6 wah in width and 26 wah in length. The villagers say that before bathing or consuming, one should seek blessings and ask for success. It is believed that each corner of the Monastic Bath has a different meaning. 

1. The eastern corner is Kindness is popular. Consecrate by Somdet Phra. Nyanasamvara (Suk) of Phlab Temple.

2. The southern corner is believed to bring great fortune and success. Consecrate by Phra Panya Wisan Then (Sri) of Samorai Temple.

3. The northern corner is associated with healing from diseases. Consecrate by Phra Phrom Muni (Chit) of Phlab Temple.

4. The western corner is associated with warding off dangers. Consecrate by Somdet Phra Sangharaja (Don) of Hong Rattanaram Ratchaworawihan Temple.
